This year we decided to have a Dewhurst Christmas in Reading for the first time. David and Linda - otherwise known as Grandpa Bill and Grandma Lou - spent a few days with us to make it more of a family affair. Ben cooked a superb Christmas lunch for all of us and Noam spent a lot of time begging to open more presents. Unbelievably we managed to spread the presents over several days - this was probably because some of them were hidden from view!

This year Noam has a full understanding that presents exist in abundance and are there to be opened - preferably now!

26 Dec 2009 - Christmas walks
After all the food and lounging about in the comfort of central heating, it's become a tradition to get out in the fresh air and enjoy a lovely, fresh Christmas walk - this year we went to Pangbourne and Goring. The pre-Christmas snow had melted and thankfully the sun was shining on us.

25 Dec 2009 - Christmas Day & Boxing Day
The day started fairly early and Noam woke to find Father Christmas had left some presents in his room. Being the lovely boy he is, he wanted to share his pesents with Grandma Lou and Grandpa Bill! They helped him open the first few and weren't sure what to say when Noam exclaimed, "Father Christmas didn't bring Thomas DVD!"
